Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Rolebound ("we", "us") for the use of Rolebound (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service provides AI-assisted tools for job searching: resume and cover letter generation, resume scanning and translation, a job board, automated application submission (Auto Apply), mock interviews and a live interview assistant. Features vary by plan.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. One person per account.

3. Your content and our output

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a licence to process it to provide the Service, including sending it to AI providers and, when you enable Auto Apply, to employers. Output generated for you is yours to use. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it; AI can make mistakes, and you must not submit information you know to be false.

4. Auto Apply

Auto Apply submits applications to third-party sites using the details and documents you provide, according to the preferences you set. Each submitted application consumes one credit. Credits for failed submissions are refunded automatically. We do not guarantee that any application will be accepted, read or result in an interview, and we are not responsible for the actions of employers or third-party sites. You must not use Auto Apply to apply for roles you are not eligible for or to misrepresent yourself.

5. Interview tools

Mock interviews and Interview Copilot are preparation aids. It is your responsibility to comply with any rules an employer sets about assistance during interviews. Transcripts are stored in your account and can be deleted at any time.

6. Plans, credits and payment

Free plans have usage limits. Premium subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Credit packs are one-time purchases; credits do not expire while your account exists. Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice for future periods. Payments are processed by Stripe.

7. Refunds

If a purchase goes wrong, contact us within 14 days and we will review it. Credits already spent on submitted applications are not refundable. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights you have as a consumer.

8. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive use, including submitting false information to employers.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, resale or circumvention of limits.
• No uploading content you do not have the right to use, or content that is malicious or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of employment opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate for breach or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts there, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
